Toledo Cathedral

Dear Friends,

You cannot imagine how gratified and happy I am to have achieved such a satisfactory result from my recent research!

The consequence was a file with images selected from 456 photos that I brought from the Internet into my PC among the thousands I saw - one by one.

No, I could not miss the opportunity to do this formatting and offer this gift to those who are excited about art - from Gothic to Neogothic - and/or those who are religious!

Except for some scholars of that Cathedral, to all those who have visited that monument of Art I assure, without false modesty, they will find innumerable unknown details, even if I tried to be concise.

Some of the slides, by the extension of the respective captions, have no advance dynamics, but this will not prevent you from going forward when you wish.

The music may not be to everyone's liking, but the purpose was to format the file "au grand complet".

It's good to remember that religious terms do not represent great difficulty to us in Portuguese, but - poor Claudia! - suffered a lot in the English version. Who told her not to be baptized in the UK?

Worth as my Christmas gift to you, and with much care,

Delza

Christmas 2016

Dear friends,

This year my Christmas formatting will not show the beautiful decorations provided by world commerce for this time of year.

I have chosen, this time, to show Christmas also at the symbolic backstage of the festivity.

Do not be discouraged because it is not an appealing position, since happiness - when it happens there - may be even more vibrant and authentic than that occurring under the limelight.

Always with my affection,

Delza

My dear friends,

In order to avoid spoiling the surprise, all I have to say is that, in terms of completeness of information about all the enchantment a place can provide, this is certainly my best work.

Longing to best satisfy your expectation,as always,
My affection,
Delza

Dear friends,

I hope you like to see or review some of the wonders of our Brazil.

In fact, this work is more addressed to the public of 135 countries that have been visiting this site in English  as well as to the 149 who have been visiting me at the original site in Portuguese - http://www.culturesandart.com - in order to show what we have in our Brazil to those who couldn't come to the Olympics and therefore couldn't know it.

Hoping that the intention of further promote Brazil justifies my pretention that all those countries will know this work,

My affection to all of you.

On the Banks of the Danube

Dear friends,

As in other times that I also have expressed myself to you, the inspiration for this work came from the real passion I have for an orchestra conductor - Seiji Ozawa.

There is a DVD of him with the Berliner Philharmoniker Orchestra playing Gershwin which is - at least for me - to vibrate, to scream, to cry with emotion and literally fall to my knees in devotion. If you want to know at least one of its recording tracks, I leave here as a present to you the Rhapsody in Blue with the Berliner more the jazz trio of Mark Roberts. If you do not cry spontaneously at the time when, after Ozawa's "drooling" over the interpretation of the soloist, he calls the orchestra by whistling with two fingers in his mouth, you are heartless... lol.

Well, this time I will not bring Gershwin but another great interpretation of the orchestra under the always magnificent conducting of Seiji Ozawa in Blue Danube, Strauss, of course.

Always with my affection,
Delza

Netherlands

Dear friends,

It was only when formatting the file about the Top 10 countries with  the highest HDI that I realized how much the country that let me down because of the extreme cold weather I experienced there once could be so beautiful!!! Imagine that: Netherlands!

Nothing else I'll write about it because I prefer to let the work speak by itself.

Always hoping to have produced something up to the good taste of all of you,
with my affection,

Delza

Top 10 countries with highest HDI – 2015

Oslo - Norway

My dear friends,

Seizing the chance to thank you once again for the affection with which you have been receiving my work, I bring you a new formatting.

Honestly, I confess that the idea came from envy. Yes, a painful envy because my country, if it will be among those with the highest Human Development Index (HDI), i it will probably be in another time, not in this that we live.

This is an assessment carried out by the UN about what the countries offer their people in terms of health, wealth and access to education. Very important too - the state of happiness in which their citizens live.

Well, it was left for me to compile and do the formatting of the indescribable wonders of the top 10 best classified countries and virtually bring them to you. Without modesty, I liked the result; I hope you too.

Always with great affection,

Del
