Dear friends,

No matter if the body is masculine or feminine – what delights me is always Beauty; here, beauty of the required volumes, the absence of  anti-aesthetics and the sinuous curves.

I just haven't decided yet to format on the man's body to avoid the accusation of being a "senile freak"... lol. But someday I'll ignore censorship and with pleasure do the formatting of  male beauty as well.

Knowing the condition of my friends, that is, all with above average background and, therefore, none with provincial or hypocritical mentality, I send this work without the slightest embarrassment.

Dear creatures,

Christmas, always related to children – by the celebration of baby Jesus birthday by the Catholic Church, or by the tradition of Santa Claus bringing gifts to all of them – this year brought me the inspiration to devote my Christmas PPS to my family's children as well as to the children of all of your families, dear friends.

Wishing to all of you a beautiful Christmas Eve and a very happy Christmas Day, here I send my affection "formatted" in my work "Children at Christmas".

Dear friends,

My passion for this song as well as for this Yo-Yo Ma recording touches me and thrills me in such a way that I felt it was necessary to make use of it in a special formatting.

The theme, Art, was already decided.  But… which one? Oh! Like in Saint Saëns composition, the theme would have to not only soften but also reveal all sorts of human emotions, specially love in the shape of a pulse that gave birth and that nurtures humanity.

Avoiding the damage to the original recording, I have not changed one decibel of the file volume, which is why I ask you to balance your sound systems in order to more faithfully listen to the performance of the artists.

Dear friends,

A few days ago Flavio Musa called my attention to the fact that a downloaded file from my website - culturesandart.com – www.culturesandart.com – did not work, ie, did not let its content to be seen.

I checked. Besides the title, nothing at all: neither picture nor sound. So I remembered - now, eight years after the formatting – this was one of my PPS works that was hacked and that, although with little or nothing of art – neophyte that I was then – it was grossly plagiarized more than once.  

Well, the result was that my inexperience at the time provided me the opportunity to remake that file now, resulting in what I classify - without any modesty, I assume - as one of my best works.

Dear friends,

Things of the Eastern world have long exercised a certain attraction over me, but I would say that most of my curiosity was always turned to the Chinese culture, habits, art and culture.

Suddenly, I come across some pictures and texts about the people living in the islands south of the Malay Peninsula in Southeast Asia.

I liked some photos, then many of them and when I realized I had already fallen in love with everything related to what was till then only the name of an Asian country - Singapore.

Those who know it will certainly regret not having discovered all that this country can offer and with the others that - like me - couldn't or won't go there, all have my word that will take a beautiful virtual tour.

From a friend of adolescence - Celinha - I've heard intriguing and fascinating stories about her staying in Kenya - in Africa, certainly.

I couldn't highlight which were the most exciting experiences she told me she had in there, but my curiosity was aroused and then I was willing to "know" that country through the Net.

For this reason, I dedicate this work to the friend who inspired me to discover a land of magic and charm so distant from us and that, formatted and compiled the photos, I bring it to you virtually in the way I could know it.

La nuit, Paris est un conte de fées

Many years ago I received a PPS file with pictures of Paris. It had no more than regular images, but the music - oh, this song - thrilled me, made me shiver, gave me vertigo, invaded me and hurt my chest the way it does hurt the longing for the unforgettable loved ones.

I left it aside in order to, someday, vocalize with emotion my longing for Paris and so, on the photos I chose, to create the mood, I gave nostalgia brushstrokes.

Anyway, this song, as the song of Edith Piaff which also "me fais tourner la tête", will be my greatest gift to you - "Crazy World" performed by the orchestra of its author, Henry Mancini.

First of all I want to thank you the vehement reception of my work and, once more, I apologize for my inability to respond to all the sensitive and caring messages that I receive from you. Beautiful, all of them, and, many, quite inspired.

This time, reflecting on the variety of experiences that enrich people's lives, including love, ecstasy, tenderness, fear, admiration, nostalgia, danger and a huge range of intricate emotions, I remembered of a special song that inspired me to illustrate it with some images suggesting a bit of such richness.

I hope the result will bring good memories to all of you...
